Senior Project/SSIS Manager

Modernized current ETL processes by adding a process to loop through a folder structure of schools to pull in data to be processed in a single location. Afterwards, the process performed data validation using stored procedures and then generate processing results to the schools in the form of a flat file and/or MS Excel format.

Developed software using Adobe ColdFusion, MySQL, the JavaScript framework Vue.js, VS Code IDE, and Navicat SQL management interface.

GDH Consulting

SSIS Administrator

Rewrote and modernized ETL processes for the Arkansas Department of Higher Education using SQL Server 2016 and SSIS using Visual Studio 2017, and focusing on efficiency, ease of use by the end users and low maintenance by automating cumbersome tasks. In addition, I trained their technical staff on developing and maintaining SSIS processes.

Northrop Grumman

Technical Lead/Project Manager/Software Engineer

Provided Agile project management and technical leadership to projects for Northrop Grumman’s DevOps team. Responsible for research and development for process improvement and standardization of management processes as well as contract coordination for the Arkansas Information Systems Support (ISS) Project Management Office with annual sales of $30 million and 130 staff. Provided Project Manager and Senior Software Engineer duties including reporting to upper-level management, scheduling, WBS definition, team leadership and project architecture and direction. This period also involved identifying requirements, developing and implementing software solutions per our customers’ business needs, and mentoring junior developers.
